You’ll be part of a close-knit, professional team, maintaining a large and beautifully presented home to the highest standards.The role is primarily focused on housekeeping, with some light service duties including welcoming guests, setting tables, serving refreshments, and assisting with packing and unpacking. Laundry is largely managed by an in-house laundress.The principals are kind, respectful, and generous employers. For a returning client and lovely HNW family we are looking for an experienced Housekeeper (preferably live-out, but also live-in with separate accommodation) to work as part of a team to maintain their stunning property, in Knutsford. Driver essential. No weekend work required.***PLEASE NOTE: This role is based in Knutsford, Cheshire but is also advertised in London to reach more available candidates as it can be on a live-in basis. ***The historic house was recently fully modernized incl. home automation, rich in original features throughout with 6 en-suite bedrooms spreading over several floors.The Owners are a British family who use the property as their permanent home, bar travel during some of the school holidays.Other staff consist of the House Manager, another Housekeeper, a Houseman/ Maintenance man, a chef, one gardener and housekeeping agency staff. Help is provided from contractors (window cleaning, car valeting, extra gardeners, etc.) when required.The household is run relaxed and informal and the role reports directly to the House Manager. The Housekeeper´s role is a routine focused role with daily, weekly and monthly tasks as well as ad-hoc duties, which require a degree of flexibility.
