Enterprise Service Management ArchitectOverview:A global retail organisation is undertaking a major service management transformation and is seeking an experienced Service Management Enterprise Architect (Contract) to support the delivery of a new enterprise CMDB.This role will provide architectural leadership across service management, infrastructure, and enabling technologies, helping stabilise design decisions and ensuring the CMDB is fit for production within a complex, large-scale environment.Role & Responsibilities: Provide end-to-end architectural ownership for a new CMDB and service management platformShape and govern CMDB design covering discovery, integrations, reconciliation, and service modelsEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, governance, and ITSM best practiceSupport service taxonomy, dependency mapping, and service-centric operating modelsAct as the architectural bridge between service management, infrastructure, engineering, and third-party partnersTranslate architecture into clear guidance to support delivery and go-live readiness Essential Skills & Requirements: Proven experience architecting ITSM / Service Management platforms (Helix, ServiceNow, or similar)Strong understanding of CMDB design, data models, and multi-source integrationsSolid grounding in ITIL and service management operating modelsExperience working within enterprise architecture and design governanceConfident stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teamsComfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments Contract Details: Contract: Initial 3 monthsStart: ASAPLocation: Hybrid 3X per week – Salford£700 - £800 per day – Inside IR35 Enterprise Service Management Architect
