As a Management Accountant, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the accounting and accounts preparation for our Group's businesses. Your goal is to maintain accurate financial records and provide stakeholders with timely financial information and supplementary data to support decision-making and performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities Your daily tasks as a Management Accountant will include: Preparing monthly management accounts, including Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, prepayment journal, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.Assisting the Financial Controller with annual accounts for statutory audits.Helping stakeholders understand their Profit & Loss statements and other financial data.Managing day-to-day financial queries.Preparing Weekly and Monthly OPW Payroll.Providing financial support to the business development team.Participating in the annual budget process.Overseeing cost control and business analysis.Leading and supporting the Accounts team.Ensuring the accuracy of the accounts database.Producing and analysing monthly management information.Providing insights for ad hoc reporting.Identifying opportunities for profit improvement within client accounts. Who you are: Financial Expertise: A strong foundation in finance is essential.Educational Background: A university degree in a related field OR relevant practical experience.Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Effective Communication: The ability to communicate with people at all levels.Analytical Skills: Capable of analysing and interpreting information.Prioritization Skills: The ability to manage tasks effectively.Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking: A problem-solving mindset and the ability to think strategically.Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships.
