What You'll Be DoingAs Maintenance Engineer you will manage the the day to day maintenance tasks and site repairs to assist operations in achieving maximum productivity.Complete fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance.Carry out fault finding, problem solving and establish route cause fixes to address equipment issues.Maintain ongoing communications with the operations team ensuring they are fully aware of all relevant engineering activities and schedules.Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production up time according to given priorities.Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely.Record any stock removed from the Engineering stores to ensure accurate stock control.Complete all necessary documentation ensuring that it is kept accurate and is audit ready .Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health and Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness.What We're Looking ForAt Greencore we put our people at the core. Client Details Located in Warrington, this organisation is part of a major international group operating within advanced Manufacturing and Production. The Warrington team is recognised for its technical expertise, collaborative culture, and long-standing presence within the local industrial community. Description As Maintenance Technician you will be tasked with the following; ? Support production to ensure minimal downtime of all injection maintenance equipment. ? Plan & carry out Predictive, preventative & curative maintenance according to maintenance plan. ? Maintain/Update all documents to capture all relevant data for Predictive, preventative & curative maintenance activities. ? Use of Crane and wide range of Lifting equipment (training given) ? Maintain critical spares & injection maintenance consumable stock giving notification to manager when required. ? Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Health & safety regulations and site procedures. ? Carry out/Support 5S activities. ? Participate in continuous Improvement activities when requested. ? Liaise/co-ordinate with other departments/Activities when requested. ? Carry out CI projects set by manager and complete according to timeline. ? Identify improvement activities and implement. ? Implement all procedures in line with Company best practice. Profile A successful Maintenance Technician should have: Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field.Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Essen.Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management.
