Private Client Lawyer – Essex An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join the Litigation team at one of Yorkshire’s most highly regarded regional law firms. With continued growth in its Litigation team, this firm is now looking for a confident, proactive NQ Solicitor to join its supportive and close-knit department. The Role: You’ll be working within a busy and highly collaborative litigation team handling a broad range of matters. The caseload may include civil litigation, property disputes and contentious probate. This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll be encouraged to take ownership of files and develop strong client relationships from the outset. Key responsibilities include: Managing your own caseload of litigation matters under supervisionSupporting senior solicitors on complex mattersDelivering high standards of client care and communicationAchieving agreed billing and time-recording targetsMaintaining confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory obligationsAssisting with business development initiatives and promoting the team’s profileSupporting and supervising more junior colleagues or admin staff where required About You: We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual who is eager to build a long-term career in litigation. Essential: Qualified Solicitor (newly qualified or due to qualify shortly)Minimum of 6 months experience in litigation during training contract (contentious probate experience is advantageous but not essential)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsClient-focused with excellent attention to detailProficient in IT and case management systemsWillingness to get involved in firm-wide initiatives, training and marketing Why Join This Firm?
