The role is in the Macro and SPG Legal team where you will work on a mixture of multi-asset, cross border term and conduit private and publicly financed securitisation and infrastructure transactions with particular exposure to innovative specialty lending and emerging market transactions. You will also work on collateralised loan obligation transactions and governance, transactional and regulatory issues connected with non-performing consumer credit debt portfolio purchases.As a Commercial and Investment Bank - Legal - Securitisation Lawyer - Vice President in the EMEA Legal Department you will have the opportunity to advise on a range of transactions, partnering closely with the business groups in London and across EMEA which originate, invest, trade and sell securitised products. My client a boutique law firm based in Central London are looking for a permanent Legal Cashier. Carry out daily banking functions including issuing cheques, handling deposits, and preparing telegraphic transfers/CHAPS payments for authorisation.Maintain client and office account ledgers, ensuring all transactions are posted regularly and efficiently.Organise telegraphic transfers/CHAPS/BACS payments as required, subject to authorisation and approval.Issue cheques from client and office accounts and handle inter-account transfers.Liaise with the firm’s suppliers to ensure timely payment of invoices.Ensure strict compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and general administration, including filing and archiving.Assist with financial management in liaison with fee earners, including time/disbursements recording and handling financial queries related to files.Occasionally assist with other general office administrative tasks as required by the partners.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in legal cashieringStrong understanding of banking processes including telegraphic transfers, CHAPS, and BACS payments.Familiarity with the Solicitors Accounts Rules is highly desirable.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with various internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Proficiency in financial software LEAP or XeroThe role is hybrid and 9.30-5.30pm. Please only apply is you have legal cashiering experience.
