Lecturer in Functional Skills English - HMP Bristol
Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Lecturer in Functional Skills (English) to join the team at HMP Bristol. This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Day to day duties Organisational and administrative work, preparation, assessment and marking.Developing and maintaining a full course file including comprehensive scheme of learning and lesson planning.Developing and completing ILPs and contextual statements to monitor individual learner progress.Accurately completing registers, learner enrolments and completions. Required skills and qualifications Must possess a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this within the first two years of service, with the assistance of the college.A degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work.Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills.
