This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dynamic team handling a wide range of commercial legal work for the Local Authority, its partner District Councils, and the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority.The role offers flexibility, remote working, and exposure to varied legal projects, including services contracts, IT contracts, framework agreements, collaborative procurements, grant agreements, and subsidy control.This is an urgent hire, so candidates with the required experience are encouraged to apply promptly.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal support on contracts, procurement, and commercial agreements.Draft, review, and negotiate service and IT contracts, framework agreements, and grant agreements.Advise on compliance with subsidy control and local authority legal frameworks.Work collaboratively with Council departments and partner authorities.Contribute to a broad range of legal projects, maintaining high professional standards.Required Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years PQE in commercial contracts and procurement, ideally within a local authority environment.Strong understanding of local government legal requirements and processes.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Eligible to work in the UK.Desirable:Previous experience with local authority legal services or Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority projects.BenefitsFlexible, approachable management.Competitive market rate, discussed and agreed upon application.Opportunity to work on a diverse and rewarding range of legal matters.Remote working with occasional office attendance.
