INVESTMENT ANALYSTHorsham | Hybrid working available after training£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experienceOur client, a leading UK professional network, is looking for a Investment Analyst to join their Investment Management team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their investment career who is looking to develop their knowledge and gain valuable hands-on experience across fund research, investment analysis and portfolio management. You'll work closely with experienced investment professionals and gain exposure to a broad range of investments and financial markets.What you'll be doing:Supporting the Investment team and senior leadership with fund research and analysis to help enhance model portfoliosResearching a broad range of asset classes, including OEICs, Unit Trusts, Investment Trusts, ETFs, Model Portfolios, DFMs and Life & Pension fundsProducing market commentary and performance analysisPreparing formal research reports for presentation to the internal Investment CommitteeCarrying out administration across investment platforms and supporting day-to-day investment activityMonitoring financial news and market developments and sharing relevant insights with the teamResponding to client queries and providing support with investment administrationUsing investment research software and maintaining accurate and up-to-date dataWhat we're looking for:IMC qualified, studying towards the qualification, or genuinely interested in working towards itAround 1 year's experience in investment analysis, financial services or a similar roleA genuine interest in investments and financial marketsStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to workGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelThe ability to interpret performance information and communicate findings clearly, including to senior stakeholdersA calm and organised approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressureStrong communication skills and the confidence to communicate across all levelsYou'll thrive in this role if you're:A team player with a flexible, positive and can-do attitudeCustomer-focused and responsive to the needs of othersKeen to learn, develop and build a long-term career within investment managementReliable, organised and willing to take ownership of your workNaturally curious about financial markets and keen to develop your investment knowledgeBenefits:23 days' holiday, rising to 25 days with service, plus the option to buy up to 5 additional daysHealth insurance through WPA, extended to partners following probation4x salary death-in-service cover5% employer pension contributionDiscretionary annual bonus24/7 Employee Assistance ProgrammeCycle-to-work schemeRegular social eventsIf you're looking to take the next step in your investment career and want the opportunity to develop your experience across fund research and analysis, we'd love to hear from you.
