Average Investment Accountant salary in the UK

A dynamic Reinsurance organisation based in the heart of the City are looking for an interim Investment Accountant to join them for 12 months. This Investment Accounting role will focus on ensuring accounting records are accurately maintained in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. Focusing on compliance with financial procedures and controls, and the provision of financial and investment reporting to key stakeholders. Qualified Accountant from an Insurance or Asset Management background required. Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards preferred. This contract could also present the opportunity to work on a daily rate.

Your new roleAs investment accountant, you will be based out of the Sheffield office supporting the UK portfolio of work, you will be responsible for appraising, negotiating and implementing funding for business. Main responsibilities include Appraisal and analysing opportunities with senior stakeholders, carrying out sufficient risk investigations and preparation of reports.
