DS Smith and International Paper have recently combined to create the global leader in sustainable packaging solutions. We are two of the leading producers of sustainable packaging, containerboard and pulp products across Europe and the US. Reporting to the Employee Experience Senior Manager, the Channels Manager will build the strategy and lead the development of internal channels for the newly combined EMEA region. The successful candidate will: Work with the global team and ICBPs to integrate channels where appropriate. Build a new, employee-first channel strategy that drives conversation, collaboration, and connection across the organisation. Build a content strategy in line with the company purpose, narrative, values, culture and business plan. Measure and use the data to inform our decisions. Why join us? About you Experience: Extensive internal communication channels experience in large complex, global, matrix organisations. Proven experience in developing and implementing a successful, world-class channel strategy for wired and non-wired employees. Strong track record in data-driven decision-making. Abreast of best practice and latest thinking in channel options and new tools on the market - good external network. Experience with building or revamping modern company intranets. Experience with integrating channels and working on M&A communications. Technical Requirement and skills: Digitally savvy, data-driven and results oriented. Expert in tools such as Poppulo and Office 365 - Power BI, Viva Engage, SharePoint, MS Teams and Town Halls. Excellent project management skills - the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, while able to deliver results under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
