Auditor - Block Discounting / Sub Hire Home based To £60,000 plus car allowance, bonus and benefits Our client is a well established business offering a distinct Audit and Assurance service for their Asset Based Lenders and debt providers. Due to growth they are looking to recruit a home based Block Discounting / Sub Hire Auditor to analyse operational and portfolio performance. You will be responsible for interrogating data for errors and fraud, identifying and assessing risk, reporting on findings and providing recommendations. The successful candidate will; Undertake audits at either at premises of customer delivery partners, or remotely (by arrangement)Complete scheduled audits in accordance with the relevant scopeConduct the audit in accordance with defined assessment criteriaDetermine the performance of a debt portfolio; assessing receivables, collateral and processes underpinning the portfolioIdentify and assess risks and risk management controls, to ensure that risks are appropriately identified, reported and monitoredIdentify areas for improvements.Examine a wide range of documentation Constantly review current working practices to ensure robustness and recommend changes You will also ensure facilities are operated within lending policy guidelines and satisfy relevant compliance policy aspects including Anti Money Laundering and Conduct risk. Wholesale and Sub Hire Auditor Home based To £60,000 plus bonus and benefits Our client is the fast-expanding asset finance division of a bank and provide a range of lending products for the UK SME and mid-corporate sectors. Responsibilities will include audit for Block Discounting, Sale of Receivables and Sub hire customers. The main purpose of the audits is to: a) Ensure that the security position is maintained, evaluate the performance of the underlying portfolio, and provide commentary on the level of adequacy of client systems, operations and controls that establish the veracity of documentation supporting the provision of Block Discount finance. b) Ensure the customer is adhering to the terms of the Sale of Receivables agreement with them and collecting rentals from their customers, which in turn is paid to c) Ensure that our sub hire customer is complying with the terms of the licence to sub-let but also to provide general commentary on the business e.g. the apparent competence (or otherwise) of the administration staff, condition of the vehicles, whether they are busy, etc. The role holder will conduct on site client visits alongside a regular programme of rolling client audits on both an announced and unannounced basis where appropriate and feasible. The role holder will ensure facilities are operated within lending policy guidelines and satisfy relevant compliance policy aspects including Anti Money Laundering and Conduct risk. The role holder will provide regular risk reports via line management confirming the risk profile of facilities and make suitable recommendations for control improvements or enhancements. Proven significant audit/risk experience with an emphasis on Block Discounting and Sub Hire facilities and related funding structures.Evidence of related sector qualifications and/or ongoing self-development.Diverse knowledge of the financial, business, economic and asset funding marketsTo deliver good customer outcomes and demonstrate behaviours that will positively impact customers.
