We are recruiting for an Interior Design Textiles Sales Assistant for a luxury fabrics company in Chelsea. This is a busy showroom with an extensive collection of interior design fabrics and textiles on display. The fabric showroom is visited frequently by interior designers, architects and design professionals all of whom are working on luxury residential and hospitality projects.Duties will involve: Looking after clients via telephone, email and in person Confidently present the collections and cross-sell, understanding the client’s requirements. Assisting the client when visiting the showroom and accompanying them downstairs for viewing trimmings should they wish.Processing sample requests, client orders, and POs from US via email & orders mailMaintaining the showroom aesthetic and display, including keeping shelves refreshed and updated with new sample lengths as and when required.Organising the return of samples Keeping the cutting folders tidyProcessing the incoming stock orders in a timely and efficient mannerChecking payments in and processing proformas Managing twice weekly US shipments via FedExQuality Control – liaising between warehouse staff and client regarding their order post invoice being raised.Full, ongoing training is provided. The company have a very friendly team of 10 based in the UK head office.
