Management Accountant
Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a growing organisation based in Kidlington to recruit a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £45,000 along with other attractive benefits including mostly remote working and a high level of flexibility! After settling into the role, the Management Accountant will need to go into the office 1-2 times a week max. Primary responsibilities; Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal postings, allocations and report buildingSupport budgeting and forecasting processes and other ad-hoc accounting reportsContribute to cost centre reporting, performance tracking, and financial planningProvide support to internal and external stakeholders with any queriesOwn financial processes such as cashflow, bank and credit card reconciliationsSupport the month-end and year-end close processesEnsure adherence to internal controls and support development of financial procedures for new clientsDeputise for the Finance Manager and Management Accountant as required including liaising with auditors, banks, and external stakeholdersHelp adapt and improve finance systems and reporting methods for clientsIdentify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gainsParticipate in finance projects and the implementation of new systems or policiesProvide guidance and process support to junior finance team members Key experience and attributes; Solid experience in a finance role covering both management accounting and operational finance dutiesPart Qualified or Qualified by ExperienceExperience preparing management accounts and supporting budget processesExcel proficiencyExposure to audit processes and financial controlsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently while also collaborating effectivelyConfident communicator with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
