Installation Technician (Electrical Bias)Location: Buckinghamshire (based)Type: PermanentThe RoleWe are looking for an Installation Technician with an electrical bias to support the build, installation, and commissioning of production machinery. This is a hands-on role, working on-site to install and set up production lines and automated equipment.You will be involved in full installation projects, from first and second fix through to final commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble production machinery and equipmentCarry out electrical wiring (power, control & signal)Support first and second fix installationsAssist with installation of full production linesWork from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematicsSupport commissioning and testing of machineryTroubleshoot faults during installs and setupWork alongside project teams on installation activitiesMaintain high standards of safety and quality on siteRequirementsElectrical apprenticeship (or equivalent)Minimum 3 years’ experience in installation rolesStrong background in electrical installation and wiringExperience installing industrial machinery or production linesKnowledge of manufacturing equipment and systemsExperience working on projects and site-based installationsAbility to read electrical drawings and schematicsPractical, hands-on, and detail-orientedDesirableExperience with automated machinery or roboticsExposure to manufacturing or production environmentsMechanical installation experience alongside electricalWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salaryOpportunity to work with innovative, cutting-edge technologyCareer progression as the business scalesSupportive and hands-on engineering environment
