INSOLVENCY ADMINISTRATOR
Our client is seeking an Insolvency Administrator to join their dynamic Administration and Compliance Departments. This dual-role position provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both the operational and regulatory sides of insolvency work.The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager heading up the Administrations Department, providing vital support in managing a varied portfolio of Administration cases and ensuring they are progressed efficiently and compliantly.This role is ideal for someone with up to five years’ insolvency experience, looking to develop their technical expertise and professional knowledge within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCase AdministrationAssist the Senior Manager in all aspects of Administration cases, ensuring cases are managed efficiently and in line with statutory and internal requirements.Conduct periodic case reviews of all Administration cases to ensure they are being progressed effectively and within regulatory deadlines.Take an active role in progressing cases from appointment to closure, maintaining accurate records and clear communication throughout.Attend on-site visits following appointments to assist with the general running of companies in Administration.Draft strategic reviews, proposals, six-monthly progress reports, and final reports for review and approval by the Senior Manager.Liaise with agents and professional advisers to obtain valuations, marketing advice, and sale recommendations.Communicate with creditors and retention of title (ROT) claimants, ensuring all queries are handled professionally and promptly.Practice DevelopmentSupport the Senior Manager in developing internal processes and best practices, contributing to the continued improvement of departmental efficiency.Assist with administrative and compliance-related duties as required by the wider team.Key Skills and CompetenciesDemonstrates an understanding of how to prepare high-quality proposals and reports for lenders and creditors.Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and professional documents.Excellent written communication and report-writing skills with strong attention to detail.Polite, confident, and professional telephone manner, capable of handling creditor and stakeholder queries effectively.Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.Experience and QualificationsUp to five years’ experience working in an insolvency or restructuring environment, ideally within a professional services or accountancy firm.A sound understanding of corporate insolvency processes, particularly Administrations.CPI or other relevant insolvency qualifications (or willingness to work towards one) would be advantageous.Relationships and ContactsReports directly to the Senior Manager – Administrations Department on a daily basis.Regular contact with creditors, lenders, agents, and other key stakeholders throughout the life of each case.Works collaboratively with colleagues in the Compliance Department and other internal teams.
