Job Title: Insight Analyst Reporting to: Insight Manager Salary : Competitive Hours Per Week: 37.5 Hours Role Purpose: Owning the creation & delivery of actionable insight to deliver true change to our client’s business. Building relationships across our clients with regular and frequent client contact including commercial presentations, performance reviews and analysis is central to the success of this position. The role will play a central part in the visualisation of data to ensure that the client receives analysis and measurement in an easy to use and visually engaging format. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Reporting, Insight & Evaluation To build relationships across our Clients with regular and frequent contact including attendance at commercial presentations, performance reviews and analysis To build relationships with the Account team and the Insight team Ensure great quality of analysis to enable the delivery of a profitable service with a great return on investment for the Client To actively identify and exploit the growth opportunities within a highly competitive marketplace To support in directing and measuring the field team performance, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness Lead the identification of commercial opportunity in order to direct and challenge client strategy Operational analysis To forecast the impact of the field team operation – Size of Prize To measure the actual impact of field operations – ROI (Return on Investment) Impact analysis To provide analysis and visuals on New product launches and reasoning for success To produce and monitor promotional effectiveness, profitable promotions and compliance To supply analysis on Price impact To measure and analyse the impact of POS (Point of Sale) location To deliver distribution compliance and opportunity analysis To provide impactful analysis on Planogram compliance Support with the analysis of Intervention impact and lost sales opportunity Lead the analysis on supply chain operational efficiencies Presentation & Reporting Responsible for producing and presenting the findings of analysis to key contacts within Client’s group To build and deliver regular data reports to the Client on a frequent basis, ensuring to deliver cutting insight and visual impact To take ownership for ensuring all system generated reports are delivered accurately and to an agreed schedule Field Optimisation To provide and maintain a dynamic call file set driven by EPOS data analytical capability and other third-party data sources To consistently utilise territory optimisation and journey planning software Other Requirements Regularly read and follow Company policies and procedures at all times. Based from either our Basingstoke or Wembley office, you'll share your time between the office and home, as well as some travel being required between our offices.SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is one of the largest housing associations in the UK, with over 85,000 homes across London and the South of England. Our purpose is to provide good, affordable homes: the foundation for a better life, and a vision of thriving communities, over generations.The RoleReporting to the Senior Investment Analytics Manager, this role will be part of a dynamic team delivering insightful analysis and driving innovation in systemised reporting via Power BI to support Investment and Development strategy, decision making and performance management. The key stakeholders of this role will be the I&D, Finance and IT teams.This role will work on high-impactful projects such as portfolio analysis, risk analysis, capital allocation, rent analysis, sales analysis, disposals, retrofits and regeneration reporting.Main responsibilities include:Creating insight and analysis to understand the portfolio performance, asset quality, market performance, identifying risks and opportunitiesProviding recommendations by collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of our investment strategy, portfolio performance and capital allocationDesigning, delivering and maintaining systemised analytics and self-service reporting tools via Power BI to support I&D and Finance stakeholders improve understanding of the investment and development performance and decision makingPartnering with I&D and Finance stakeholders to scope detailed project requirements – translating business requirements into the clear and concise technical development specificationsManaging and updating the project management board for responsible projects aligned with the I&D Analytics project roadmapWorking with data engineers and business owners to create data pipelines for reporting and analytics with consideration of the planned system integration, transformation and data migrationDelivering Power BI data models and reports with the Power BI developers' best practise and compliance with the SNG data policies and proceduresSupporting the maintenance, management and enhancement of I&D systems and ensuring they are fit for purpose and continuously improved, and supporting the routine review of the quality and completeness of dataWhat we're looking forYou'll need proven experience in a similar role as an Insight Analyst, ideally in the Real Estate, or broader Investment and Development sectors. You will need strong Power BI reporting experience with advanced data analytics and visualisation skills.
