Statistical Analyst - Research & Insights London - Hybrid (3 days in the office) to £45,000 + bonus & benefits The role is for an ambitious data analyst eager to take ownership and make an impact. Reporting to the Analytics Manager, who leads advanced data and analytics for research strategy projects and initiatives, you’ll be exposed to wide variety of leading global brands spanning different market sectors. Working collaboratively with the Research and Strategy teams, you’ll manage multiple data & analytics requests simultaneously, playing a key role in providing outputs that allow for delivery excellence for all research and insight projects. With support from the Analytics Manager and wider Research team, you will be expected to process and analyse data sets to help deliver important actionable insights to both clients and internal stakeholders. An eagerness to learn on the job is also required, with the company increasingly offering advanced analytical approaches to clients such as driver and factor (PCA) analysis, customer segmentation, maxdiff, conjoint etc… Prospective candidates need to be well-rounded individuals that work well within a friendly team culture and have strong analytical and communications skills. As a minimum we are looking for candidates with the following skills: A university degree qualification in a research relatable fieldYou are likely to be currently working in a research and insights organisationMinimum 2 years of experience in data processing and analytics (market research agency or related industry experience is desirable)Strong analytical skills and a good eye for detailStrong organisational skills, ideally able to manage up and downHighly motivated and keen to work in small cross-functional teamsAn effective communicatorBasic understanding of statistical concepts e.g. descriptive statistics, distributions, hypothesis testing, regression etc.Experience with data processing and analytics software such as Q, SPSS or Sawtooth is expected
