We are looking for an Information Security Consultant to join us on a 3 month FTC, you will need to have experience of gap analysis and writing information security policies from scratch. Responsibilities: implement Information Security industry standard (ISO27001) documentation (framework, processes, procedures, policy etc) in compliance with standards, specifically BAIT.Define and document reporting, responsibilities, and processes for Information Security Officer, in regional offices.Implement any measures or findings identified in audits Governance and Policy Development and support of information security and compliance frameworks.Key areas: ISMS, IAM, BCM, IRMReview of IT policies, performing policy gap analysis and assisting in the development of supporting standards. Knowledge, skills & experience: Recent Local Government experience, including NHSIn-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, including GDPR, FOI/EIR, and Records Management standards (ISO 15489, ISO 27001, BS 10008).Practical understanding of information governance frameworks, data sharing principles, and risk management processes.Proven track record of leading Records Management and Information Governance projects in a complex organisation, preferably public sector.Experience in managing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and compliance activities.Hands-on experience with electronic records management tools such as Office 365, SharePoint, and other IT platforms.Relevant degree or professional certification in Records Management, Information Governance, or related fields.Certification in project management would be an advantage.
