This hands-on role involves deep cleaning operations, site decontaminations, emergency environmental response, and more, across various critical and challenging environments in the UK. Day-to-day of the role: Perform specialist cleaning tasks including tank cleaning, site decontamination, decommissioning, and emergency response.Operate equipment safely in line with risk assessments and procedures.Support health, safety, environmental, and quality initiatives.Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment care.Comply with site permit-to-work systems and report equipment or PPE issues.Participate in training, risk assessments, and emergency response rota.Accurately complete job documentation and liaise with technical teams.Assist with vehicle cleaning, restocking, and waste packaging duties.Carry out additional duties at the Hazardous Waste Transfer Station or other assigned tasks within your capability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste handling, or similar is highly desirable.Strong health & safety awareness and willingness to work in high-risk environments.Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and at height.Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.Flexible approach to working hours and locations.Attention to detail, especially with documentation and compliance.Willingness to work towards certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, NEBOSH, or IOSH.
