Main objective of the role: The main objective of the role is to be a key senior member of the Immigration team, providing a first-class service to our clients on a range of matters. This includes small to medium enterprises and some larger corporations. The team seeks to involve all members in client relationship building and business development. Key responsibilities include: Client service:  Advising clients on all aspects of UK Corporate and Private immigration work, including: Advising, preparing, submitting, and reviewing visa applications, for Global Mobility Visas, Employer Sponsor License applications, Skilled Worker Visas, Spouse Visas, Visitor Visas. Right to work checks and compliance audits for small to medium sized businesses or individuals (such as investor, entrepreneur and sole representative extensions and Innovator Founder applications). Developing your own caseload and providing support to the Immigration team client base, discussing fee quotes and tactical and strategic advice with partner/senior associates. Managing client relationship and business development/ cross referral opportunities both internally and externally. Contributing to immigration updates and preparing articles for the website and for sending out.  Attending networking events and engaging enthusiastically with the firm’s marketing and BD initiatives.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our client a specialist immigration law firm based in the City of London. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of the immigration system. You will provide excellent and tailored assistance to high profile clients on their immigration obligations to ensure compliance with the Home Office. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice and representation in all areas of immigration law, including but not limited to visas, citizenship, asylum and deportation defence.Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions and supporting documentation.Represent clients in hearings before immigration tribunals and courts.Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and policies.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about their cases and managing their expectations.Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment. Qualifications: Qualified solicitor with a valid practice certificateMinimum of 3 years experience within immigration lawStrong knowledge of immigration regulations and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressureStrong organisational skills and attention to detailProficiency in legal research and use of legal databasesCommitment to providing high quality client service Desirable Skills: Experience working with vulnerable clientsFamiliarity with immigration law software and case management systems The salary for this position is between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
