We are recruiting for an Interim Compliance Officer to join a well-established educational organisation in the Black Country. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening compliance processes and supporting the delivery of a business-critical improvement plan following a recent audit.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support compliance improvement initiatives across training and education programmes.Implement and monitor action plans arising from audit findings.Work closely with external auditors, assessors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance requirements are met.Review and strengthen compliance processes, policies, and procedures.Maintain accurate compliance records and audit documentation.Ensure secure handling of sensitive information within both paper-based and digital systems.Prepare evidence and documentation for future inspections, audits, and quality reviews.Support continuous improvement activities and promote best practice across the organisation. Requirements Proven experience in a Compliance Officer, Quality Assurance, Audit, Governance, or Regulatory Compliance role.Previous experience within the education, training, apprenticeship, further education (FE), or learning and development sector is highly desirable.Strong understanding of audit processes, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timescales.Comfortable managing both paper-based and electronic record systems.Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to undergo DBS checks.What's on Offer?
