Senior Highways Engineer Location: Slough Full-time | Permanent Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy with a passion for creating innovative, sustainable, and award-winning places. With a forward-thinking management team, we take a collaborative approach to deliver exceptional, integrated projects. Due to the growth of our Highways team, we are looking for a talented Senior Highways Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Produce 3D highways designs from 2D layouts, including models, cross sections, and contours.Design civil infrastructure components, including detailed and preliminary highway (S38/S278) and drainage designs.Liaise with statutory authorities to support project delivery.Oversee and check drawings (AutoCAD) and manage project timelines and budgets.Lead highway projects, ensuring delivery exceeds client expectations.Support and mentor junior staff in their professional development. What We're Looking For: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (consideration given to relevant experience).Extensive experience in highway design, maintenance, and improvement schemes using AutoCAD and Civils 3D.Strong knowledge of highway assets, design standards (DMRB), and relevant legislation.Experience in walking and cycling design, traffic calming, Healthy Streets, and junction design.Excellent project management and financial skills.
