Free On-Site Parking Available About the Role: We're currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Social Worker to join the Children Looked After / Corporate Parenting team in North & Mid Devon (Barnstaple). This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a high-performing team that's focused on delivering excellent outcomes for children and young people in care. You will work closely with the Team Manager to oversee and support frontline practice, take on complex cases, and mentor less experienced colleagues-while maintaining a manageable caseload yourself to ensure quality work. Key Responsibilities: Hold a reduced caseload, focusing on complex assessments and casework Mentor, supervise, and support other team members and students Drive best practice and quality standards in casework Participate in and support multi-agency working and court proceedings Be a positive force for practice development and improvement Essential Criteria: ?? Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience?? Registered with Social Work England?? Valid UK driving licence and access to a car??
