You will be based in vibrant, multi-cultural Bethnal Green and be responsible along with the Registered Manager for the operational management and quality of our older persons extra care service, consisting of 40 clients, each living in their own flat. You are expected to collaborate with the Social Services and other stakeholders including the Area Manager to ensure that the highest care standards are met. You will ensure an empowering service which meets the needs of our clients and works with their families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere. The ability to work in an empathic and holistic way to maintain client orientation and independence is essential. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable. We are a local provider employing a diverse team of over 150 well supported staff to deliver great services across Tower Hamlets. We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Site Engineer to join a dynamic team working on a significant groundworks and civil engineering project. You will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this project, ensuring works are completed accurately, safely, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site, ensuring precise execution of engineering designs.Overseeing and managing all on-site engineering activities, including groundworks, drainage, foundations, and associated civil works.Ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.Maintaining accurate site records, including daily diaries, as-built drawings, and quality assurance documentation.Liaising effectively with the Project Manager, site supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Monitoring progress and resolving any technical issues or queries that may arise on site.Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Assisting with the management of plant, materials, and resources.Conducting quality control checks and inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
