Production Operative
Michelle Denny Recruitment is partnered with an innovative manufacturing company based in Attleborough and we are looking for Production Operatives to join the small team. Salary is £27,000pa (this could be a great opportunity for a keen trainee too!) and has a Monday to Friday working week, with the shift pattern detailed further below.This long-established company produce an array of specialised bespoke products from their cutting-edge production facility and supply across the globe. Regardless of experience, you’ll have the opportunity to potentially be trained and certificated to use a Counterbalance forklift and taught how to run the various machines.What you’ll be doing: Operating machinery to produce the company’s specialist productsPacking and labelling of finished productsUsing a forklift to load and unload stock (after training)Moving goods by hand and by using pallet truck etcKeeping a tidy and safe working environmentLearning to operate the various production machines to become multi-tasked across the business What you’ll need: Ideally, you’ll have experience within a manufacturing / warehouse environmentThe ability to physically lift/move goods up to 20kgStrong team ethic with a friendly & courteous mannerReadiness to learn What’s in it for you: A solid starting salary of £27,000pa, which increases as your skills grow on each machine sign off On-the-job support and training (including potentially Counterbalance Forklift) A clean, well-organised production environment with a great team atmosphere A two week rotating shift pattern with your evenings and weekends free Only a 38 hour working week Extra day's holiday for your birthday! 5% company pension contribution Gym membership Employee Assistance programme Death-in-Service Supportive management team where Your working week:The weekly rotating shift pattern is as below, with optional overtime when needed, at weekends:Monday - Thursday06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00Friday06:00 - 12:00 and 12:00 - 18:00You’ll be in good company:The business has an 'open door’ policy and a culture of striving for a comfortable working environment for all.
