About the Role Are you a skilled analyst with a passion for forecasting and planning? Join our dynamic team in the Operations Forecasting & Planning department and contribute to the success of our daily operations in Roadside and Contact Centre. As a Forecasting & Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for creating daily forecasts of operations demand workloads, guiding resourcing requirements and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: Generate weekly, daily, and hourly demand forecasts, driving resource allocation to meet daily member breakdown needs.Utilize multiple statistical forecasting methods to analyse and extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, underpinning planning assumptions and forecast quality.Provide valuable insights and intelligence to enable informed decisions on resourcing, performance challenges, and optimization.Produce and maintain forecast analysis and performance reporting to identify performance risks and opportunities.Support the Senior Capacity and Planning Manager in long-term annual and quarterly forecasting and planning processes.Collaborate with members of the Resourcing & Technical team in Operations, Business Services, and finance teams from IM, BS, and Operations.Produce accurate and effective weekly demand forecasts (rolling 0 - 13 weeks) across lines of business (Roadside & Contact Centre).Forecast daily demand requirements and feed into capacity/resourcing models to achieve KPIs and SLAs efficiently.Share best practices with colleagues in the Forecasting & Planning team and ops stakeholders.Continuously review performance, ensuring forecast accuracy and understanding variations.Handover daily and hourly forecasts to the Resource Planning function within agreed SLAs to optimize supply. Qualifications: Experience in forecasting and planning within large-scale operations, particularly in the field and complex Contact Centres.Proficiency in building, developing, and maintaining Excel forecasting models.Advanced Excel skills for designing and managing complex forecasting models.Ability to create and develop models and solutions for problem-solving activities and scenario modelling.Strong modelling skills and the ability to develop and build Demand Planning models and processes.Strong Power BI skills, knowledge, and experience with Tableau and other analytical and reporting solutions.Desired proficiency in SQL, along with knowledge and understanding of statistical software packages.
