You're a Fitter, Service Engineer or Powered Access Engineer looking to develop your skills and /or learn new equipment. Based at our growing service centre in Gloucester, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing our Premium Brand tooling equipment. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00, so no more weekends or nights away. You'll be maintaining and repairing a wide range of premium machinery ranging from small hand tools to industrial demolition robots and everything in between. If you're passionate about machinery and enjoy working at the cutting edge of the industry, this role is perfect for you. You'll be responsible for: · Maintaining tools and test equipment. · Complete and test repair work. · Maintain customer logs and internal service records. · Liaise with the whole aftersales team to ensure efficient service to customers. You will be working as part of a busy team, so you'll need to be happy working on a wide range of equipment and have the ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities depending on the businesses needs and customer timeframes. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Plant Fitter, Small Tools Technician, Powered Access Engineer - Hire Equipment. As an experienced Service Engineer / Fitter it is likely you have worked on equipment such as: · Plant, tool, powered access, lifting, crane. · Welfare, generators, forklifts. · HGV, agricultural equipment, attachments, hydraulics, hoses or equipment hire. Regardless of your background, you will demonstrate: · Knowledge of fault finding & basic repairs. · Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. · Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. · Excellent time management skills · Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Package).
