Financial ControllerPotters Bar area, Hertfordshire (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days WFH)£75,000 - £85,000 + 10% BonusMarket leading business with a t/o of circa £200M. This role reports to the Finance Director and will take responsibility for financial accounting, treasury and company secretarial functions of the Group, ensuring strong balance sheet control, accuracy and that financial control processes are adhered to in full.We are seeking a candidate who is technically strong on the financial accounting side with previous experience of managing teams and managing the relationship with the Auditors.What you will be doing:* Develop and manage a team within the Financial Accounts department to support the accounting processes within the Group.* Oversee the statutory accounts for the group whilst maintaining strong balance sheet and general ledger control.* Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the Group, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.* Oversee the Group's annual audit process and provide key point of contact for the auditors.* Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and eliminations to ensure accurate group financial reporting.* Manage Group company secretarial and ONS requirements to ensure compliance with all regulations.* Oversee Cash management, including foreign currency management / hedging, cash forecasting and banking.* Oversee the Group's accounts payable, treasury and accounts receivable functions.
