Robert Half is currently working with a global leading information-services business in Central London, to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a 10-month role paying between £65-70K pro rata (plus completion and performance bonus). This role forms part of the project team leading the separation of business entities and the sale to a PE firm. The right candidate will be able to lead on all cost/budgeting/general reporting activities relating to the project. The Role As the Finance Business Partner, you would supporting with: Lead FP&A activities, working directly with senior management across multiple functions, including preparation of annual budgets, strategic 3yr plans, monthly reforecasting, results presentations, strategic reports and ad-hoc modelling.Collaborate with the Finance Director & the Functional Directors (e.g. CFO, Head of Tax, Global Financial Controller, Legal Counsel) on strategic projects and the decision-making process, modelling scenarios and possible outcomes using latest economic indicators, considering desired outcomes and any financial accounting implications.Act as Finance Lead across Projects, working closely with PMO's and management in ensuring sound commercial designs are made in delivering project(s), producing financial modelling for business cases, ascertaining benefits, maintaining project forecasts and preparing monthly finance deck for Steer Co reporting.Deep dive into data to develop key insights and work with leadership to use these insights to drive performance and desired behaviours.Ensure regular meetings are held with all budget holders communicating clearly financial performance and insights to support effective budget management and strategic planning.Work closely with global finance teams, US and HK, to understand global functional cost allowing for greater insight and improved transparency for budget holders.Develop strong relationships with senior management to ensure effective two-way communications Adopt a continuous improvement mindset and leverage 'quick-wins' to support the role and wider team to become more efficient and effective e.g automating reports, standardised models for financial reviewsManage P2P processes ensuring all users understanding requirements and that POs are raised and approved in a timely manner, managed effectively, thus allowing for spend to be monitored accordingly, escalating any potential issues in a timely manner.Direct line management of FP&A Anlayst Your Profile The ideal Finance Business Partner will have: ACA/ACCA qualified - practice background would be idealCollaborative stakeholder management approach with influencing skillsPersonality & attitude - this role has exposure to senior stakeholders Company & Benefits This role offers the opportunity to join a global leading business at an exciting time.
