Working for a highly acquisitive Ecommerce business you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including management accounts, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. Key focuses include: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee and coordinate the month end process Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations Manage year-end audits and liaise with external auditors. Provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management and stakeholders Lead the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts. Monitor variances and proactively manage financial performance Manage cash flow, inventory financing, and working capital for a fast-paced e-commerce environment. Reporting to the MD, as Financial Controller, you'll be leading a small team of 2 and overseeing the day-to-day transactional finance tasks, whilst reviewing and implementing; financial controls, budgeting methodology, management accounting and MI Process.This role is ideal of an experienced and qualified Finance Manager or Financial Controller that is looking to join a business where they can influence change and be involved in rapidly growing business.THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE: As Financial Controller, you'll be leading a team and be responsible for ensuring the department produces accurate management accounts and financial reporting to the SLT.Overseeing transactional finance tasks such as Sales Ledger, Purchase LedgerProducing the Monthly Management Accounts, MI Reporting, Budget, Cashflow, Forecasts, Monthly KPI Flash Report and Board PackConducting in-depth analysis, cost base, identifying trends, margin changes, business performance and presenting data driven recommendations.Preparation of the Company's monthly KPI Scorecard, across both qualitative and quantitative measures.Work with budget holders to build budgets and ensuring controls are implementedMaintaining rolling cashflow and cash managementImplement Company credit cards / debit cards control and approval processImplement PO request and approvals processManage end to end payroll submissions to payroll supplier and perform monthly payroll.Ensure financial systems and any/all integrations are fit for purposeResponsible for Year End, VAT Returns, Statutory Submission and External AuditReviewing and submitting insurance information as required to ensure suitable cover.Scaling the finance team to align with growth / departmental demands, including implementing processes for developing, coaching and HR elements.
