Qualifications and Experience: Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).Extensive experience in leadership and management in a senior finance role.Proven ability to lead and manage a significant and diverse team.Experience in delivering strategic and operational objectives through large and complex change projects.Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.Highly developed interpersonal, influencing, and negotiating skills.Appreciation of financial challenges in the current economic climate.Ability to manage and maintain service quality and coordinate services at the departmental level.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with mainframe accounting systems. Desirable: Experience in a finance role within the Higher Education Sector Understanding of relevant legislative and statutory frameworks, including company and charity law.
