Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting and reporting activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial strategy and support business growth. Client Details Our client, a well-established organisation based in North Kent are seeking a Finance Manager to join them on a full time and permanent basis. The successful Finance Manager will be formally qualified, and expected to lead all financial operations for various projects. This role offers a hybrid working pattern. The successful candidate will be flexible to travel nationally on a quarterly basis. Description Finance Manager duties include; Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes.Attend monthly management accounts reviews.Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights for decision-making.Manage and present to board the business planning and operating financial model update process.Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Provide support for strategic planning and investment initiatives.Review the annual operating budget and reconcile to the operating financial model. Profile The successful Finance Manager will have/be: A completed formal qualification is required (ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified)Management accounting and statutory accounting experienceExperience working within a compliance focused environmentClearly communicate technically complex financial issuesProficiency in financial software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsA highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyMaintenance of complex financial models using Microsoft Excel.
