Financial Controller We are seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller r to join a successful and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with strong leadership skills to play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will lead and develop a small team while providing accurate costing and financial analysis to support business performance. You will work closely with operational and non-financial stakeholders across the organisation, helping to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare management accounts including variance analysis , financial performance reviews and providing financial insights to support operational decisons making Assisting in the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts in collaoration with department heads and regions. Calculating and analysing stock globally. Interpret and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)Provide meaningful financial analysis and reporting to support business performanceWork collaboratively with operational and departmental leaders to provide financial guidance and supportLead, motivate and develop team members to consistently achieve objectivesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutionsSupport business change initiatives and adapt positively to evolving prioritiesEnsure the accuracy and integrity of costing and financial data across multiple systemsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in a manufacturing finance, costing or management accounting environmentExperience calculating and analysing direct labour, factory overheads and product costingsStrong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs)Excellent IT skills with confidence using multiple systems, including advanced Excel skillsExperience working with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BIPrevious leadership experience with a proven ability to engage, motivate and develop teamsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial colleaguesExcellent organisational skills and a flexible, hands-on approachThe ability to work independently and as part of a wider teamA continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement positive changeWhat's on Offer?Our client is committed to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
