Key Responsibilities:* We are currently seeking a contractor to join our External Reporting team. The role will report to a Director within the Glasgow team supporting the work of the monthly European Statistical Reporting production. * Preparing Regulatory Balance Sheet-based external reporting * Preparing commentary and analysis to support the reporting* Conducting the production process ensuring delivery against production timetables.* Trouble shooting data issues during quarterly production through effective communication and escalation to local line management * Responding to review questions raised on disclosures produced* Presenting disclosures and analytics to members of Finance Senior Management* Building an understanding of disclosure requirements and my client's policies* Maintaining written procedures documents, ensuring key controls are in place* Assisting with testing of technology development to enhance the report production processesRequirements:* Experience of financial/regulatory report production* Experience of working with large datasets* Excellent communication skills including ability to escalate effectively and in a timely manner* Appreciation of escalation and risk awareness* Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities* Strong work ethic with an ability to take responsibility for completing tasks and working to deadlines* Ability to work autonomously * Ability to balance and effectively prioritise multiple issues * Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint* Financial services and/or product knowledge* Balance Sheet controller reporting experienceDon't hesitate and miss this opportunity!
