Interim Financial Accountant Location: Greenford, West London (Hybrid - 2 days office / 3 WFH)Rate: £200-£225 per day (via umbrella)Contract: InterimOverviewAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a global organisation in a high-impact role. You will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting, and controls across UK and EU entities, working closely with senior stakeholders and shared service teams.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & ReportingManage monthly financial accounting and reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet), including consolidation of UK entities in line with group policiesLead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close (accruals, prepayments, journals)Prepare and submit financials, forecasts, and budgets via reporting systemsProduce latest estimates for P&L and working capitalSupport the Financial Controller with audits, projects, and ad hoc activitiesEnsure shared service teams deliver against KPIs and follow robust processesPerformance Reporting & PlanningDeliver monthly performance reporting across full P&L (Revenue to EBIT)Manage latest estimates and support budgeting and forecasting cyclesSystems & DataMaintain reporting system mappings across finance and BI toolsManage SAP S/4HANA processes including master data, approvals, and system updatesEnsure strong data integrity across cost centres and profit centresAudit & ComplianceSupport internal and external audit requirements (quarter-end and year-end)Prepare statutory accounts, disclosures, and audit working papersEnsure compliance with group accounting policiesShared Services & Continuous ImprovementPartner with offshore shared service teams (RTR, AP, AR)Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and controlSupport development and performance of shared service teamsSkills & ExperiencePart or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent)Strong financial accounting and reporting experienceExperience working in a fast-paced, complex environmentSAP S/4HANA (or similar ERP) experience preferredAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented mindsetRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
