The company are offering up to £55,000 salary, dependent on experience and qualifications. You will be provided with a pre-existing client bank. The Business The business is a well-established Financial Services firm who have been in operation for over 10 years with several advisors working within the Essex area. The firm have plans to expand the business in the coming years and are looking to grow the team. They also have links with a large accountancy practice. The Role The role will be centered around providing advice to help maintain the existing client relationships with the existing client bank provided. Financial Accountant Job Type: Full-time, permanent, hybrid working Location: Ipswich Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum Our client is looking for a meticulous Financial Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will handle the preparation of both consolidated and subsidiary statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS. Additionally, they will gain expertise in the Group’s consolidated reporting system, Magnitude. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, attractive benefits, and clear paths for career advancement. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary statutory accounts under IFRS.Become a finance system expert with the Group’s consolidated reporting system, Magnitude, and provide support to the wider accounting team.Prepare the monthly consolidated cash flow for the UK.Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.Support the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and CIS tax.Assist the Head of Finance and FP&A Manager with reporting and projects.Support annual internal and external audits.Conduct KPI reporting for future bids and tenders.Support the Assistant Financial Accounts with tasks such as fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.Act as the first point of contact for any technical accounting requirements.Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
