Interim Financial/Management Accountant South Barnsley (predominantly office-based) Up to £380p/d DOE (inside IR35) I'm delighted to be working alongside one of our longest-standing clients as they seek an interim Financial/Management Accountant for one of their sites in Barnsley. This contract will roll for a minimum of 6 months. This Accountant assignment requires a technically-minded, all-encompassing contractor who can hit the ground running. Somebody with a well-rounded SME type background would be ideal. Key duties will include: Preparing Financial Statements: Compile accurate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards. Maintaining Financial Records: Ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly and systematically for transparency and compliance. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to legal, tax, and financial regulations, including filing statutory reports and meeting audit requirements. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.
