One of our valued clients is seeking an experienced Underwriting Assistant to join their well-regarded team in London.Reporting directly to SVP European Casualty, the appointee to this role will work independently to ensure PI and US Liability insurance risks are captured within the company's systems.Duties include:Data input into IMS policy system and other company systemsManagement of underwriting bordereaux systemsSanction/compliance checking of risksManagement of input/output of data re market systems e.g. PPLSupport underwriting team with underwriting administration as requiredManagement of data from delegated clients and within company systemsClose liaison with underwriting teamProvide underwriting pricing MI/portfolio management support to the underwriting team and management teamLiaise with actuarial, finance, legal, claims, operations and complianceProduction of monthly/quarterly underwriting, sales, and claims reportsPrevious experience gained with an insurer/MGA is essential.Support underwriting audits and technical file reviews including management of action plansLiaise with Claims/TPA PartnersProduction of UW MI reports and analysis for risk management and portfolio oversight purposes.This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with previous experience gained within an Insurer/MGA. The successful candidate will work in partnership with senior leaders across Sales, Operations and the wider business to help shape and evolve credit policy, embed best practice, and improve how deals are assessed from approval through to completion.
