Finance Manager
An established and expanding organisation within the healthcare sector is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to support its next phase of growth.The business delivers a range of specialist services across multiple revenue streams and is continuing to scale, with new service lines launching in 2026 alongside further developments in the pipeline.The RoleThis is a key position within the finance function, offering a mix of hands-on responsibility and commercial involvement.You will oversee core financial operations while working closely with senior stakeholders to provide insight, improve processes and support strategic decision-making. The role offers strong exposure across the business and would suit someone who enjoys contributing beyond the numbers.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & ControlProduction of monthly management accounts and supporting analysisPosting and reviewing journals including accruals and prepaymentsMaintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliationsManaging the fixed asset registerAnalysing financial performance and highlighting key driversPlanning & ForecastingLeading budgeting and forecasting processesPreparing and maintaining cash flow forecastsMonitoring performance against budgets, investigating variancesProviding financial insight to support operational and strategic decisionsGovernance & ComplianceIdentifying risks and implementing improvementsActing as a key contact for audit activityStrengthening financial controls and processesEnsuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and HMRC requirementsFinance OperationsEnsuring timely supplier paymentsSupporting the day-to-day running of the finance functionOverseeing payroll processes in partnership with HRTeam & Business SupportSupporting and mentoring junior members of the teamBuilding strong relationships across departmentsDriving process improvements and efficienciesContributing to wider finance and business projectsAbout YouExperience in a Finance Manager or similar roleStrong background in management accounting and reportingCommercially aware, with the ability to translate numbers into insightAnalytical, organised and detail-orientedConfident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skillsAble to manage priorities effectively in a growing environmentProactive, with a continuous improvement mindsetQualifications & ExperienceEssential:ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualifiedExperience producing management accounts and financial reportingExposure to budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet controlDesirable:Experience with Xero or similar accounting systemsBackground within healthcare or service-led organisationsExperience supporting or developing junior team members
