This business is an Industry leader, and the finance department is evolving and growing.  This role is crucial for clearing a backlog of purchasing and invoicing reconciliation work, ensuring alignment between delivery notes, purchase orders, bills of lading, and supplier invoices. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct thorough checks to confirm alignment between delivery records, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.Investigate and resolve mismatches across internal systems and supplier documentation.Act as the point of contact for suppliers and internal teams to clear outstanding queries promptly.Review and update internal payment schedules to reflect current supplier balances and commitments.Ensure all entries accurately represent goods received, approved invoices, and pending payments.Provide clear visibility of upcoming liabilities to relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to strengthen accuracy throughout the purchase-to-payment workflow.Suggest practical enhancements to reduce errors and prevent future backlogs.Assist with broader administrative tasks and reporting requirements within the procurement function.Maintain organized records of reconciliations and issue resolutions for audit readiness.Deliver regular progress updates to management and finance teams.Support month-end activities and reporting as needed.
