As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join the team and help drive financial strategy and governance. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing strategic insights to senior management.Developing and implementing effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.Monitoring cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and efficient resource management.Coordinating and managing external audits and collaborating with auditors to ensure smooth and timely audit processes.Providing detailed financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making, cost control, and profitability initiatives.Managing a small finance team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.Preparing tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing relationships with tax authorities.Working closely with senior leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or in a similar role within the financial services industry.In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements specific to financial services.Strong experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide and mentor a finance team.Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations.Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of internal controls and financial governance.Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant professional certifications.Experience in tax compliance and managing audits is highly desirable.
