Finance Business PartnerLocation: London – hybrid (minimum 2 days per week office-based)Salary:£65-£70K plus extensive benefits packageSector:Charity / Non-profitThis role leads the commercial finance agenda partnering with senior stakeholders to strengthen costing, modelling, forecasting, reporting, and systems improvement, with a strong focus on bid support, margin and cashflow optimisation, and high-quality reporting.Key RequirementsEssentialProven business partnering with non-finance stakeholdersQualified accountantStrong track record of systems and process improvementAdvanced Excel and confident handling large datasets and reporting outputsExperience in financial modelling and supporting bids/tendersClear communicator able to translate finance into practical decisionsDesirableExperience in charity and/or non-profit environmentsExposure to Sage or similar reporting tools/dashboardsExperience supporting regional/national service delivery modelsRole & ResponsibilitiesLead commercial finance support across project and income generation activityProvide insight on profitability, cost recovery and cashflow, highlighting risks and actionsPartner with Business Development and Fundraising on financial bid inputs, from creation to submissionOwn and improve the project costing model, ensuring governance and timely sign-offDeliver bespoke modelling for complex commissioning requirements, including cost impact of required changeProduce monthly project reporting, analyse variances, and support budget holders to manage performanceLead forecasting to end-of-contract and consolidate into the rolling organisational forecastImprove ledger integrity for projects, including journals/adjustments where requiredDeliver accurate commissioner and donor reporting to deadlines, escalating issues earlySupport systems improvements (self-serve reporting, dashboards, coding accuracy)Complete financial due diligence as needed
