Job Title: Finance ManagerLocation: Lymm (WA13)Salary: £40,000 - £45,000Hours: 37.5 hours per weekContract: Permanent, Full-time, Office based An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant / Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Lymm. This position plays a key role in overseeing financial operations at head office, reporting directly into the Director ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the smooth running of central administrative functions. You will lead a small team, support strategic decision-making, and provide high-quality management reporting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate monthly management accounts Finalise year-end accounts for submission to external accountants. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliation. Maintain effective financial controls, particularly around accounts receivable, cost of sales, and credit management. Ensure all financial data is recorded correctly within the accounting system and complies with internal policies. Strengthen financial planning systems, streamlining processes for improved accuracy and efficiency. Lead, support, and develop a small team, driving improvements in financial processes. Monitor costs, including contract renewals, ensuring all information is current and accurate. Produce financial reports, budgets, and analysis as requested by senior leadership. Process BACS payments and assist with payroll when required. Support the maintenance of budgetary and financial systems across the organisation. Provide administrative support, handle enquiries, and maintain accurate manual and digital records. Uphold confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and Health & Safety standards. Contribute to meetings, development activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. About You: Experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager within a busy finance function. QBE or part qualified accountant Strong analytical skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Commercially focused, proactive, and confident driving process improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational abilities and a structured approach to problem-solving. Proficient across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. Collaborative team player with the ability to lead and support others.
