Finance Assistant
Our client based in High Wycombe requires a temp to start asap supporting with the finance department. The position will be full time 100% office based, office hours Monday to Friday. There is parking available on-site. You must have some finance/accounting experience to be considered and be available for work immediately for a minimum of 1 month. Please see details of responsibility below - Purpose:Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will provide temporary support to the Finance team by managing the fixed asset register. The position will involve partnering with department managers to deliver robust analysis and insights that support business decision-making.Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the Fixed Asset register for UK and EIRE booksUpdate the fixed asset file, ensuring assets are capitalized and depreciated in line with group policiesClose fixed assets on systems for month-end and reconcile with the balance sheetPrepare monthly reporting and other fixed asset reports as required Skills Required: Basic understanding of accounting principles Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical, numerical, multitasking, and problem-solving skillsIntermediate Excel proficiency The benefits of being a temporary worker through Bucks & Berks Recruitment: A friendly and supportive temps' team; we are here to answer any questions and support you in your role.Weekly pay, no more counting down the days until your monthly payday!As a temporary candidate you will receive a Costa gift voucher on your 13th consecutive week worked!Holiday pay on top of your hourly rate.A flexible approach to working, you are in control of when you are available to work.
