Facilities ManagerLocation: Multi-siteSalary: £40,000 - £45,000Overview:We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of facilities across multiple sites in an educational setting. This role provides leadership to the team and ensures that the learning environment is safe, efficient, and well-maintained.Key Responsibilities:Lead the facilities team to deliver high-quality operational support across sites.Develop and implement processes to maintain buildings, grounds, and resources in a school/college environmentManage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providersOversee budgets, procurement, and maintenance schedulesEnsure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulationsCoordinate space planning, room bookings, and resource allocationMonitor and improve service delivery, identifying efficiencies and solutionsProvide regular reports and updates to senior managementRequirements:Proven experience in facilities or estates management, ideally in an educational environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of health & safety regulations and complianceExperience managing budgets, contracts, and maintenance schedulesExcellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skillsIT literate, with experience using facilities management or helpdesk systems
