Facilities Manager
Location: Liverpool Salary: £25,000 + COMMISSION Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Friday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our Liverpool business centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facility’s communal estate areas are maintained to the highest standards, providing a welcoming and professional environment for our tenants and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Always conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner while on-site - Maintain a professional personal appearanceEnsure all common areas, including reception, meeting rooms, kitchen areas, and restrooms, are clean and well-presented at all timesLiaise with tenants to ensure compliance with tenancy agreementsDevelop a deep understanding of the building’s infrastructure, including fire alarms, CCTV systems, utilities, and communal facilitiesAssist in marketing and public relations efforts for the centreConduct potential tenant viewings and provide comprehensive information about available facilities and tenancy agreementsLiaise with tenants’ representatives, consulting with line management when necessary.Finance Duties - Issue monthly invoices to tenants and ensure accurate and timely updates, Assist the finance department in maintaining tenant payments and achieving value for money in expenditureRecord and resolve tenant complaints efficientlyMaintain and update the tenant information pack as neededSupervise contractors and obtain competitive quotations for communal services and repairsSupplement communal services on an ad hoc basis when required, such as cleaning, window cleaning, and landscapingEnsure adequate supplies of consumable materials are maintainedManage the building in compliance with health and safety policies and tenant handbooksCoordinate efficient waste management, including waste removal and bin maintenanceRecord regular meter readings for utilities serving the buildingMaintain an efficient meeting room booking systemBe responsible for holding keys to all communal areas and maintaining a duplicate set at head officeLog all communal repairs in the repair book and report items requiring attention to line managementPerform any additional duties as instructed Requirements: Previous experience in property or facility management is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of health and safety regulationsAbility to maintain a high level of professionalismExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills If you are a proactive and dedicated individual who can ensure the smooth operation of our business centre while providing exceptional service to our tenants, we encourage you to apply for this position.
