Average Fabricator salary in the UK

A Fabricator is required to join a large manufacturing & engineering company based in Cheslyn Hay, specialising in structural steelwork. This Fabricator position is a great opportunity to join a well-established company on a temp-to-perm role, with the company looking for an employee to join for the long term. You will be fabricating framework, and similar structural steel projects, from CAD generated drawings. The materials will be pre-prepped and ready to assemble. This is primarily a fabrication role, though you may also be MIG welding when required. The duties of this role include; Fabrication of heavy structural steel and building frameworkWorking with a variety of materials, primarily mild steelWorking from CAD generated engineering drawings and job specsFull fabrication including drilling, cutting & shaping steel when requiredMIG welding to a high standard when required This Fabricator role will be working straight days: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays).
