URGENTLY REQUIRED: Experienced air export clerk who ideally has strong experience within aog / time critical urgent shipments to join a well established company who have a specialist division. Shift 4 on 4 off DAYS 7.00am - 7pm Handling urgent / aog shipments Complete all customs documents using Boxtop / Sequioa Dealing with urgent customer enquiries via telephone and email Liaising with the warehouse and assisting where required to ensure shipment is processed in a timely and professional manner. Invoicing & Billing Dealing with airlines / handler and road haulage companies Experience is a must for this role, you should have strong air exports experience and worked within freight (not cargo or courier) A full 5 year check will be carried out and a basic DBS check.

We’re looking for a confident and detail-driven Air Export Coordinator to join a busy freight forwarding operation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take responsibility for managing export shipments from initial booking through to departure, ensuring everything runs smoothly, compliantly, and on schedule.You’ll be joining a collaborative team where no two days are the same, and your ability to stay organised and communicate effectively will be key to success.What You’ll Be DoingTaking ownership of air export shipments, overseeing the full process from booking through to upliftCoordinating collections and working closely with transport providers, airlines, and warehouse teamsMonitoring shipment progress and stepping in quickly to resolve any issues or delaysProducing accurate export documentation such as MAWBs, HAWBs, and commercial paperworkEnsuring all shipments comply with HMRC regulations, export controls, and agreed IncotermsCompleting export declarations (experience with Boxtop or Sequoia is advantageous)Acting as a key contact for customers and overseas agents, keeping all parties informedBuilding strong working relationships with carriers and service partnersManaging job costing, checking supplier invoices, and supporting overall shipment profitabilityClosing files accurately and maintaining audit-ready recordsKey SkillsPrevious experience within air freight exports or freight forwarding (around 2+ years preferred)A solid understanding of export procedures and customs requirementsFamiliarity with Incoterms and industry compliance standardsKnowledge of dangerous goods handling (IATA/ADR) would be beneficialA proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple shipments at onceStrong communication skills and a customer-focused mindsetHigh attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressureAdditional Requirements5-year verifiable employment history (required for aviation security)Cargo Operative or air cargo security training is advantageous25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeOn-site parkingA fast-paced, supportive working environment with opportunities to develop
