Executive Assistant Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (On-site)Contract: Full-time, PermanentSalary:£30,000 – £35,000 per annumTravel: Occasional travel to other Trust sites required - drivers with own vehicle preferredSector: EducationCompliance:Enhanced DBS check required About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the senior leadership team within our Education Trust. This is a key role that ensures the smooth coordination of executive operations, complex diary management, and professional communication across multiple sites. Based on-site in Newcastle upon Tyne, you will support strategic activities and occasionally travel to other schools and Trust locations. You will be the first point of contact for senior stakeholders and external partners, representing the Trust with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive executive support, including diary management, meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and accurate minute-taking.Act as a trusted conduit between the Executive Team, school leaders, governors, and external agencies.Prepare polished reports, briefing papers, presentations, and documentation to support leadership decision-making.Coordinate Trust-wide meetings, events, and projects, ensuring smooth communication and logistics.Maintain robust, confidential records in line with safeguarding, GDPR, and Trust compliance procedures.Organise travel, scheduling, meeting packs, and ensure senior leaders are prepared for all engagements. About You Experienced Executive Assistant, PA, or senior administrator — ideally with background in education, public sector, or a multi-site organisation.Outstanding organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a calm, professional approach.Able to handle sensitive information discreetly and manage confidential matters appropriately.Confident working in a fast-paced, varied environment with shifting priorities.Proficient in Microsoft Office, digital systems, and document management.Willing and able to travel between Trust sites when required.Must successfully pass an Enhanced DBS check.
